Charlotte grew up in Moab, Utah and still has many friends and family there. She has lived in Phoenix, Arizona, Cottonwood Heights, Utah and currently lives in St. George, Utah. Charlotte is a ﬁne artist and works in many mediums as well as fiber. Watercolor is her chosen medium. She has drawn and painted as long as she can remember. A new big box of crayons still excites her. Her work is comprimarily realistic in nature. She often starts a piece with a blank piece of white muslin on which she draws, paints using her water color method, thread paints, quilts and finally embellishes with bead and other fibers to create her pieces. She owns a business called “Glad Rags Art” which is primarily a quilting business. She has quilted many traditional quilts for her clients from all over the country. She designs and creates her own quilts as well as a few patterns that are available for purchase. She teaches and works on commission.
